Now this girl is canon in the CL universe. I haven't explained it, or done any real worldbuilding, plus I've been crappily introducing characters, so no one knows what's going down.
Basically, the timeframe is in the 2100s, post-apocalypse. Humankind has mingled with all sorts of weird new animals and animal people (responsibility of the Four Horsemen using the Earth as a sandbox). It's like the Dark Ages all over again. Everyone's stuck with the same cultures, technologies, and styles from the past 100 years for the next 1000 years with little or no advancements. Hell on Earth, demons, paranormal stuffs, etc. etc.
Around the main setting (New Memphis) there's a lot of modern urban and 20s stuff going on. Shiny penthouse parties and ballroom dinners to dark alleys filled with neon. People in pinstriped suits or hoodies and sneakers.
