"Titchfield Haven - Rattus Rattus"This is a digitally-edited painting, based on a photo of some kind of large mouse or rat that I saw on a sluice gate at Titchfield Haven last November. If I remember rightly, I chose the melodramatic (and possibly inaccurate) Latin title for this painting because randomly seeing a rat reminded me a little of James Herbert's classic 1974 horror novel "The Rats".
