"When a startling discovery drains the dreaded Black Dragon of the Apocalypse of his anger, Acnologia is left wandering through the centuries without clear purpose. Somehow, it is a path that leads to five young dragon slayers coming into his care and to the joining of a guild of human mages—who are also mostly children. No, he has no idea what he is doing, but if it is what it takes to atone for his sins, then he is willing to try.
However, with the shadows of the Dragon War still lingering, the plight of the dragon slayers is not over. But this time, Acnologia found something to protect, and he would fight the gods themselves if it would keep them safe. Unfortunately, it is a resolve that may prove to be true."
