It turns out Shadow's fur colour isn't as dark as i thought xD So luckily i could just about add shading on his fur.I can't really draw too well at the moment, so i thought i might aswell practise a bit of colouring
The puddles look a bit crap but ahwell xD;Shadow the Hedgehog (c)SEGA/Sonic Team

Heya! I really like this pic a lot. You did superb on it. I know you probably get this a lot, but if you don't mind me asking, how did you get the rain effect? It's simply stunning. I've been learning a lot of different techniques from different artists and you're definitely one of the best I've come across.

Ahhh i didn't do the rain effect myself since i suck at rain so badly XD I just used a brush i found, i'll try and find it for you if you want? I should've put that in the description but forgot, sorry!

o.O Damn, this is pretty good! I've no idea why you say you can't draw very well. Granted the puddles aren't perfect, but the main focus is Shadow in this, so it's not really very noticeable when the rest of the picture's so good - and standing water is pretty hard to get looking right - I'm sure you'll improve if you keep trying it

I saw this while browsing around, and this thing caught my attention. One of the most unique pieces of Shadow fanart that I've ever seen.

It's rare to see Sonic fanart in portrait fashion that has a distinct quality to it - something that makes it stand out is what I mean.
Indeed this is something I see as unique and very well composed. I have yet to see Shadow draw with this expression towards the rain. The rain effect itself is brilliantly expresseed.
The inking, colouring, and composition of the entirety of the piece is flawless. Excellent stuff ObsessedShadowFan!

this is..better than what I expected to see, the colors are just as good as the original character..
you shouldn't get too frustrated about drawing puddles, just look on the internet for an entire worksheet of how to draw puddles, and voila!
