Lightning Bug is a Rainwing-Hivewing hybrid. She has a little golden frog, Buttercup, for a pet. A Hivewing named Tarantula came over from Pantala after he was freed from the mind control. He had been a prisoner in Wasp's dungeon for protesting the killing of all the trees. He went to the Rainwing village to do research and met Berry. They fell in love and had Lightning Bug. Once Lightning Bug was old enough, she went to Jade Mountain. She spends a lot of time in the Library and the art room. She enjoys all her classes. Her father was a researcher, and she's inherited that curiosity.
