Ugh, naw I'll pass! I'm here to give people a chance to look on my art, not to scare them. I would like to maintain the illusion that actually someone cool might stand behind these works, not the fat old git I really am

Keep in mind that gaining weight is not necessarily the same as growing fat. Muscle tissue is in fact more dense and thus heavier than fat. Which is why people who work out to loose weight often are disappointed that from a certain point they actually become heavier again.
But in my case I can truly and honestly say that I simply got obese. That's what you get from sitting in front of a screen, eating candy bars...

Well one usually knows ones own body to tell if you've gained weight with muscle or fat c: but yeah I always eat in the evening, bad habits

Unfortunate as it is, but I do not think so. Most people do not really know how their body works, and the mass media of our time are actually part of the problem. How else could it be that every year anew them magazines promise "bikini shape in three weeks", while medicine has actually proven years ago that these diets work by dehydrating your body and thus doing actually more harm than good
And I do not even talk about those people who really have a disturbed perception of self and believe they are still to fat if they're only bones and skinβ¦
So, long story short, our body does not always tell us what's good, and if it does, the wrong info from the media often makes us misinterpret it's message. Sorry.

Actually xD I got makeup before taking them hehe, probably was my first time with makeup, it was mostly to cover those rings. Though they are not connected to unhealthy lifestyle :3 they have always been there.
Hopefully the job bosses feel like that yes c: hehe maybe I can get a job now!

Hum, in fact the whole application photo thing is much discussed in some circles nowadays. In fact, in our country we are experimenting with what we call "Nicht personalisierte Bewerbung" (non-personalized application) where no photo or hobbies or such are included, so you get invited to a job interview strictly for your reference, not some personal preference.
I heard that in the US, where discrimination is still a big problem, applications are even made without the names of the applicants, because bosses are not supposed to sort out people who sound hispanic or have a female name.
