photo of me cosplaying as Date Masamune at Ayacon 2013. I had a lot of trouble with the armour and ended up destroying most of it before I got any photos done. This costume was sooo boiling that we didn't stay in it too long. I decided to do this costuem based more off the game version of Date's costume. mainly becaus ei didn't want a bright blue costume. The back design is done by using a stencil and instead of using bias for the edges is it painted on with Dylon to make it look a bit more accurate to game version. I still need to make the swords properly as I was restricted to travel size swords due to my suitcase beign stuffed to bursting point. At some point I will remake the armour and re wear this costume to get more of the photos i want.
