A horrible truth illustrated in a gorgeous way. I love it! Beautiful work, very creative concept, and a deep, important message. This should get a lot of people's attention, and hopefully focus it on the right path for our planett.

The planet goes through changes. That's a fact of life. It did the same long before humans even populated the Earth.

There is a problem with pollution and a lack of conservation on our planet. But human inflicted Global warming hasn't been proven there are scientists out there who do not agree with those that claim it to be a threat caused by humans. The earth is ~ 4.5 billion years old and has been changing since its beginning. Humans have been in existence for only a tiny tiny fraction of percent of the earthβs lifespan. We could not destroy the earth in such a short period of time it doesn't make sense to me. The earth has endured bigger natural threats other than humans over that time. The earth cooling and warming is a natural thing that has happened way before our time. Global warming caused by humans is a big corporate and political scam and a tool of fear for people to throw money at them for their campaigns and to buy their products. It's about votes and it is about money. Plain and simple. In the 1970s the same thing happened it was "global cooling". A big political and fear tactic to control people and make them panic to throw their money in a direction. I do not buy it ; It is a scam. I believe the planetβs problem is pollution and a lack of conservation. We need to find cleaner and more efficient ways to generate energy to save money and to make the air cleaner. We need to recycle and figure out new concepts of how to cut back on garbage. We need to conserve what we have and protect what we have but be realistic and rational about it. I believe in not being a slob and to pick up after myself and to respect nature. This going βgreenβ trend gets on my nerves. Just be modest and do the right thing and think for yourself and donβt follow blindly into what these greedy bastards are feeding you.
I said my piece and I will not respond to anything else this is pepey's page not mine and I will respect the artist's page by not putting anymore of my drama on it.

i think you're missing the point here ... while humans may not DESTROY Earth (sure, it'll heat up, it'll cool down, it'll try to repair itself) the chances that we survive this heating up and cooling down is ... well ... look at the dinosaurs ...
and global warming is barely a name, in fact, it is more generally referred to as global climate disruption, because it will get warmer some places, and some places it will get colder, so grasping at the words is really a sad basis for an argument ...
you should be more open-minded ... if you find yourself in the position where you don't think your opinion can be changed, you should go out and look for evidence that would prove you wrong, might just learn something ...

Yea they use fear to control people, look at how they use fear on kids in the below link.
BTW the people who say the sea levels will rise 20 feet, that it MAYBE will happen in 1,000 years, and in the next 100 years MAYBE 7-24 inches. THEY ADMIT TO THIS. They exaggerate these claims to make it seem like everyone is going to die so they can set-up their carbon tax to get more money from people, complete propaganda...

Global warming is a hoax, from a scientific standpoint look at the primary source of climate influence, that giant ball of gas burning in the sky. Check the data on its solar activity and see if it corresponds with the rise in temperature. The sun has fluctuations in temperature, dont buy into the politically correct jargon, get your information from unbiased independent researchers because these people are scientists who have no agenda, just factual data. It's time to wake up.

wildfotog In reply to IMOKDJ [2011-08-02 21:09:44 +0000 UTC]
You say that global warming is a hoax. And then you point to the sun as the cause of rising temperature Politically correct jargon?? It is hotly debated. I do get my information from unbiased independent researchers. They say the earth's temperature is rising. It is caused by many factors, including man's reckless disregard for the health of the planet. It's all about money. Burning fossil fuels, chopping down the trees which produce half of the world's oxygen. The other half (estimated) comes from the ocean. It comes from plankton. It's happening because of overfishing of species like shark (estimated 100 million per year). Sharks eat animals which eat plankton. Without sharks, these animals over produce. They eat much more plankton than nature would otherwise dictate. There are many other factors. Regardless of the causes, the earth is heating up. If we ignore it, we will suffer the consequences. It's time to wake up.

Who said the sun isn't the primary source of heat? Go back and re-read all the comments. You obviously have difficulty understanding what you read. You are all over the place with your comments.
Your opinion means nothing to me. And I'm sure you feel the same way about mine. Let's just go our seperate ways.

lol So the sun isn't the primary source of heat? If you say no, you are delusional and live in a false reality where the cheeseburger you see in the commercial is actually the one you get at the fast food place.
[link]
The point is that global warming is being used to scare people into accepting the carbon tax which every person on Earth will be required to pay, this includes people who already live on less than 2 dollars a day, FYI that's 40% of all the people on this planet. Do you think these people who can barely get enough to eat are the reason for global warming? why should they be taxed and subsequently starve to death because gullible people think they are saving polar bears??? That's the point, its called population control.
It's the big corporations that are the problem and they are using Al Gore as their front man to get the carbon tax put in place, they've already tried to do it in Australia, look it up. They use polar bears standing on lone sheets of ice to pull at your heart strings, THEY ARE PLAYING WITH YOUR EMOTIONS. They make you feel bad for the polar bears so you give into their scheme. And do you know who would get the money from that carbon tax? None other than Al Gore's group of cronies. These people are millionaires and billionaires do you think they give a shit about polar bears? They care about getting more money from a public that will believe anything they see on tv. Thats why they dump thousands of barrels of toxic waste in the ocean because its cheaper to them than properly recycling it. The only time something gets done on this Earth is for profit by big corporations. Think about it, I mean really concentrate on what I'm saying and read it multiple times.
See these...
[link]
[link]
So perpetuating their false notion, through this well done but misinformed piece of art, that polar bears will become extinct if we don't "do something about it" will literally contribute to the death of millions of people. I care about those people who are being denied industrialization because it will threaten the big corporations agenda.
So find out what the real danger is, the monopolizing of industry and greed of the super-elite, look into the policies they try to get put in place, its never to benefit the general populous, EDUCATE YOURSELF.
This is your news: [link]
how are we supposed to believe people who would do this to a 4 year old child??? never believe anything you see on the news without doing the research first, i bet u saw a global warming commercial and felt bad for the polar bears huh? But the millions of people needlessly starving in Africa are not even mentioned. They tell you to donate money to help these starving people but how many thousands of dollars was wasted on the advertising of that commercial for it when big corporations could easily help these people. They instead ask us, who barely make enough to get by, to throw them some cash when they are the ones making millions of dollars, what kind of people are they? WHY IS THAT, ASK YOURSELF OVER AND OVER...

"You say that global warming is a hoax. And then you point to the sun as the cause of rising temperature Politically correct jargon?? It is hotly debated."
[link]
Go there and then get back to me...
The Point is, the phrase "Global Warming" is being used by big corporations to exploit peoples emotions for animals like polar bears. They use the fear of a crisis to control people and distract them from the real problems. It's called divide and conquer, order out of chaos. They create the problem, then blame it on the general population for using too much energy, then offer a solution that will only benefit the richest elite under the guise that it will help save polar bears and penguins.
Trying to stop the over-fishing of sharks (still a worthy cause) to treat "global warming" is like trying to cure your cancer with chicken noodle soup and cough syrup. If you waste your time on this well-intentioned but misdirected effort, similar results will occur. You cant keep doing the same thing and expect different results, I believe Einstein said something to that effect. You need to get to the root of the problem, and that is the greed of the elite and their monopolizing of industry and natural resources. Bickering amongst each other is exactly why things are the way they are, the divide and conquer method they apply is keeping people from the real issue at hand and that's all I'm trying to point out.
Yes, saving energy by turning off lights, recycling and stopping the over-fishing of sharks and things like that are all great things to do but it's not going to solve the problem at large just by doing that.
The real problem isn't people like you and I, it's the industries that caused this problem in the first place. They have the money to fund idiots like Al Gore to tell people that they are the problem for using too much energy, having too many kids and using too much stuff (like ted turner would say). So supporting the people who are the voice for these industries is just going to further mask the truth.
Regardless of what my opinion means to you, it doesn't make it any less valid.
I'm trying to point out the real problem to people, do you think the rich get richer by accident? Who do you think writes all these govt. policies, could it be those representing the special interests of the corporations? If policies were actually written like they are supposed to be written, TO BENEFIT THE PEOPLE, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
Corporations will do anything to protect their profit, and that includes brainwashing people...
I still value your life as much as my own whether you feel the same or not, so I'm sorry if I care about people more than polar bears...
Do you think all the bad things in the world are by accident?
Do you think famines and wars are "just the way it is"?
Look at who benefits from all the horrible things that are happening, international bankers who fund both sides of wars and get governments to sell out their people. Money was created to help make the trade of goods for services easier, instead it has been used to manipulate, exploit and destroy civilization. That's the problem that causes all problems, including "Global Warming" So research that and formulate your own opinion, but make sure you do the research first before you voice an opinion about it. I recognize that big corps. and international banking elite are the true enemy of mankind, Best wishes to you and yours, peace.
