Description
1- Pick your base colors. Make sure they are pleasing to the eye. You can use Adobe Kuler for color palettes/ inspiration. I also test my colors before I use them. Colors are never what they say they are. I used marker.2- Add darker shades first. This goes for any type of media/ mediums. You can add the lighter tones as you go.
3- 'Over lay'. I finished with a slightly lighter time then the low-lights. Member to pick matching colors for this. Other wise you end up with a muddy mess.
4- Color your background objects. Don't make them to distracting or you will loose focus on you main object.
5- Color background. I repeat steps 2-3 for this. DO NOT make your background too distracting either. I used crayons.
