Description Continuing getting used to drawing in Autodesk Sketchbook.
Ignore my ramblings below, they're just notes for myself.

It's tricky trying to find the right brush, preferably something that's closest to what I've used in Photoshop for years. The hard pencil size 4.0 worked well for all my Gertie sketches, but it turned out horribly for Rusty (had to throw out A TON of failed sketches before finally changing brushes and seeing some progress with this one.)

I might have to postpone my goals for "clean inking" for now as well. I mistakenly thought I'd gotten the hang of inking in Sketchbook, but after struggling with this piece, NEVER MIND. Same goes for drawing full-body pieces. Ugggghhh... I hate drawing nothing but busts and headshots, but every time I try to draw a full body piece, it doesn't get very far, due to the face/expression looking like crap. Don't even mention drawing hands or poses, ughhh. I need more practice with this, and this time might be the only chance I get, to do these sketchy vent-art headshot pieces again...

Another issue I'm struggling with is coloring.
Coloring in CSP produces a lot more crisp, clear, anime cel-shading style. But it's a lot more time-consuming...
Coloring in Sketchbook is way faster, but it's messier.
I might have to color in Sketchbook for now... since there's no point in giving nice clean colors to a messy sketch.

I might be stuck drawing in this canvas size/aspect ratio for a while.
So far, it consistently produces the best results, every time.
The major downside is that it's not very full-body drawing friendly.
Very good for bust shots or cinematic type stuff tho.

At this point, I'm still gonna have to keep testing everything out and see.
Test out every and any brush, try different brushes for different characters, etc.
