Dedicated today to just working on Max's design. (2 hours)Normally I start my sessions by drawing Gertie, then Rusty, and then I always run out of time/barely get any time to draw Max.

BAD PEPPER, REMEDY THIS IMMEDIATELY.
Out of the three siblings, his design still gives me the most difficulty (ie. I want to limit his color palette to mostly dark or less saturated colors, I'm not sure how much of the post-apocalyptic aesthetic I wanna throw in there, I'm not used to drawing kids, and spiky anime hair always gives me trouble, etc.) But I think I made some progress here.
Either way, tbh while working on this, I got to the point where I'm just like, "hurry the hell up and finish this, it's been like 3 months already; I wanna work on something else." Don't know if that's a good thing or not (on one hand, it's finally pushing me to complete an art piece, something I've been struggling with for years. But at the same time, I don't wanna rush and half-ass this.) We'll just have to see.
