I made a few miniature axolotls for use in ponds and some necklaces for MegaCon.

They are made from polymer clay.

They are also called human fishes ( here in my coutury are really rare ) and are a protected species and are etremley fragile and gentle ^^.

I vacationed in Hong Kong once. If a pet store doesn't have aquariums, they keep fish and amphibians in plastic bags waiting to be sold. I saw an axolotl in a bag. He obviously didn't have room to turn around in. There was also a Chow pup in a kennel that just gives him room to stand up. Something about Hong Kong culture tells us they don't share all our values. I thought Buddhism taught them to treat animals humanely.
