Just cause I’m worried I didn’t make it clear enough: Zira initially thinks that Scar is talking about physically hurting him, but he’s actually saying not to tell Auni about the pregnancy—don’t hurt him emotionally by letting him know that there’s another family member we’re going to kill. Zira figures that out, and Auni slips away without the knowledge of Simba’s existence. Yes, Scar does love the lion who had once been on his side—not more than the throne, but enough to feel sorry for him, and spare him some pain.

Welp, on that bittersweet note, we’ve finished up Anything to Win! Obvious question is: will I be doing more TLK comics? The answer is: I would like to, but not immediately. This has been two great years, I’ve loved letting you guys in on my headcanon for Scar, Zira, and co., buuuuut it’s also been two years of not doing much reading, not playing many games, etc., cause the majority of my free time was going towards drawing this. ...I wanna go play Skyrim or something. Lmao. Plus, I don’t have a finished script, so... yeah, another big project some time in the future, sure, but not soon.
