The princess was the one elf in court who had already been indisputably obese even before the Queen's poisoning. The young lady had been spared the Queen's wrath not just due to her lineage, but out of a rare bout of pity. Princess Shandra was loved by all, and everyone knew she valued her walks through the gardens, which also made for a delightful spectacle to the people. They loved to see their princess so well-cared for in such a beautiful setting... If she were to gain even a few more pounds, it was clear enough that she wouldn't be able to make it out of here room, let alone through the courtyards without significant assistance. She was more opposed than any to the queen performing her unusual group punishment on the ladies of the court- and was the one person in all the realm who wouldn't be penalized for speaking out. She'd even set aside her passion for alchemy in protest of this treatment of the nobility. A shame... though, she seemed to be enjoying quite the rise in reputation amidst all this chaos.
