The Hall of Heroes is just as the shaman described! You'd thought those old mushroom-addled geezers to be full of it, but the warrior's afterlife was my myth. Feasting and celebrating rang out beneath a ceiling so high that clouds formed beneath it. Old friends and legendary heroes from the songs sat side by side, toasting to your arrival, and do the eternal battle which will prepare you for Ragnarok. At a balcony overlooking the great battlefield, your Valkyrie introduces herself as Yfnne, but sadly informs you that she must depart, as this hall is a place for the folk of Midgard, not her kind. You take her hand, red in the cheeks, and out of sheer gratitude, ask if she would at least share a drink with you. Just one! She stares for a moment- no man had ever offered before. Was sit even allowed? The two of you had the balcony to yourselves, and had long immortal lives to look forward to, so... she accepts.
