Description
EDIT: Added the final three to complete the set: Jet, Mai, and Ty Lee! Thirteen is unlucky though, so I made one extra one that will only be available at cons (for nowI've been meaning to post these, but I wanted to sort of finish the set first. Suki, Azula, and Momo are new. I have no idea what characters are popular enough to be buttonized. The question is... are there more Avatar buttons you'd like to see? (Sorry =SilverVulpine , I'm not doing a Yue button
Anyway. Buttons are 1.25" (toonie-ish sized!) I sell them at cons and would love to ship them when not at cons, but shipping can get pricey (3$ in Canada, 4$ in the States) but if you're interested in these or my other buttons, Note me.

Lol i've never been to a con before either... and probably never will until I live outside of my parents' home Anyway, I hope you have lots of fun! Hopefully, the button printing expenses aren't that much, so even if your selling doesn't go too well, you can only make a profit right?
also which con is this again? I heard there were some protesters for the movie planning to go to the NYC one...

The upcoming con is in Gatineau, which is across from Ottawa (Canada's capital city). I think it'll be a small con (under 1000 people) but it's it's a 10 minute drive from my house so I figure why not? Plus it's a French con, so it's a good excuse for me to practise the language.
You should definitely check out cons, I went to them as a congoer for years before going as an artist and I always had a blast. If you don't mind my asking, how old are you? If you're older than 13 or 14 your parents should be fine with you going to cons. What state are you in? I can't be sure, but I think almost every state in the US has its own convention at some point in the year

Ohh ok. Hey, it might be a small con, but if you know there will be a good size avatar group there, then you're set! Of course if you're into other fandoms, then heck that's better for you. And the french aspect is def a bonus
Oh ya, I've always wanted to go. Hehe, I'm 17, so I'm def old enough to go on my own. My aunt who is a pretty modern went to the SDCC last year and offered to take me with her, but my parents would definitely not be wiling to pay for the flight expenses.. and I don't have that kind of money myself. I remember sooo wanting to go to the April NYCC last year, but of course that means missing school days and doing so for a con is ridiculous even to me. Like I said, I'm just waiting for independence when I don't need my parents' permission and I can make my own money when/if I can get a job in college. Hopefully avatar will still be popular by that time or I would have got into another fandom

.......I've definitely missed schooldays for a con haha! Anime North, which is in Toronto and the biggest con in Canada, is about 5-6 hours from where I live, and begins on Friday, so I would always miss school that Friday. I was a straight A student so my mum had no qualms with letting miss a day of school every once in a while. You're 17, your parents should understand if you want to go, especially at the height of Avatar popularity.
Find a local con if you can, like I said I think pretty much every state has one and your parents would probably feel a lot more comfortable with it if it was closer to home. Or, maybe they'd feel even better if you went with friends? I went to my first con when I was your age (oh gawd I feel so old saying that!), and I went with my best friend. Her parents happened to need to go to Toronto that weekend so I got a free ride. After that I was allowed to go with just a friend or even by myself.
I don't mean to presume though, everyone has different parents and rules and stuff.
