Perna Studios is very excited to announce our twelfth trading card set entitled Creatures of Myth and Legend. This set will focus on creatures from myths and legends like Bigfoot, the Mothman, the Jersey Devil, Loch Ness Monster, the Chupacabra and many more with a few creatures from mythology added into the mix like Hippocampus, Kelpie, Manticore etc....
(The presale for the Creatures of Myth and Legend sets will be in May 2019 and released in early June 2019).
This awesome sketch art card of the Bakru is drawn by the very talented artist Fabian Quintero for our Creatures of Myth and Legend trading card set.
Bakru (or Bakroe) is a dwarf or gnome spirit in the Winti religion of Suriname. It is a dwarf spirit as it is approximately half the size of human child, but with an oversized head. It is said to be made of half flesh and half wood. Some state that the Bakru has red eyes, but that is not always reported by its victims. (SOUTH AMERICA)
