It comes out more like a question. Whatever strange haze has come over the gangster leaves his eyes, a clarity that has both the head and the knife clattering to the pier.

With a grunt, Gavin tugs at the collar of his sweater, revealing the kevlar vest he wears beneath. “G-guess I-I’m n-not as d-dumb as y-you th-thought.”

And suddenly, he’s being pulled into the gangster’s tight embrace, familiar arms protecting him against the horror surrounding them on the pier. But Gavin doesn’t give a shit about any of that, is clutching Nines just as tightly, swears he hears a sob muffled against his neck as the gangster trembles against him. '

I goddamn love this freakin story. It's amazing BUT it is rated M so if you can't handle intimate scenes/blood/gore I suggest not reading. Even if you can handle but are under age don't be reading explicit stuff...it'll hurt your brain. That's my warning for you but I can't stop what you ultimately do. It's of your choice not mine. *shrugs*

ANYWAY. I freakin love her work and had to draw my favorite scene. Yes this is spoilers. and the little written part is a small snippet of the chapter taken from Tristinai's story. Go.Read.

Even if you have no idea what DBH is, you won't regret the amazing read. It's legit amazing. I mean some parts you might wanna know, like what the fuck DBH is...BUT STILL.
