I get the distinct impression that the black lady is more important than the white one. It reads more like.. black is accepting white in her life/space rather than they are coexisting, as if the black woman's body is saying, "i am facing away from you but you are permitted to touch me". Even the title emphasizes this, "coffee WITH cream" not "coffee AND cream".
That said, I enjoy the warm colors of this photo. It is clearly not a b&w photo but not necessarily sepia. I am loving the choice of lighting and modeling achieved.

this probably has nothing to do with the picture, but I like the contrast between the colors of the nail polish. it seems to really bring them together

Everything about it seems perfect, the light, the jewelry, the contrasting colors. So much detail... I like how even Coffee's nails are painted light and Cream's nails are painted dark
