Description This is the clock at the main gate in the Buchenwald concentration camp. It was stopped at 3:15, the time the Allies liberated the camp.

The camp is just ten minutes outside of Weimar, so naturally, that had to be part of our trip. As I study German history for my major (my passion, the reason for my existence) I took this trip harder than the others in my group and this was the only photo I could bring myself to take that whole day. I was very moved by the trip and wanted to share this photo. It's not so much artistic, more like insightful: I believe this is the most important thing I heard that day, so this is what I chose to photograph.

Very interesting history /story behind it I take it as well. (Hasn't had much time to squeeze in that much needed history course)
