Description Another interesting feature of Erfurt: as a Renaissance town, the buildings were never numbered (this was before the Anger). Instead, they had names. This one is "The Golden Swan." If you wanted to meet your friends somewhere, you wouldn't tell them the street or the house number, you'd tell them the building's name. See? History is nifty!
