Yay, more pictures from abroad. I just had to wait until I had the correct spelling of this before I could post it.

This is the gate (tor means gate) that's at the one end of Freiburg's old town. There's another gate at the other end of old town that's called Martinstor, and for a while, I didn't know that I'd already reached Martinstor because the distance looked longer on the map that I had. So here's advice to all you Euro-travelers: never trust the distances on maps, especially maps you get from hostiles.

The figure painted on the front of the gate is St. George the Dragon Slayer. For some reason, he was big in South Germany.
