Description This is a statue on the Charles Bridge. During the religious upheaval (Protestants and Catholics going at it, what else?) this man was thrown off the Charles Bridge as punishment for his beliefs. They say that when he hit the water, stars appeared, so on every statue of him, there's stars circling around his head.

There are many other statues of him all over the city, but I like this one the best; for one, it's the biggest and you can see the stars very well.

Also, they say that if you rub the bottom of the statue and return in one year to do it again, you'll have good luck. I rubbed the statue, but don't know if I'm going to be able to get back in a year. We shall see.
