I've still have a million photos from my trip to put up, but I've been dragging my feet.
I went to Freiburg because I wanted to go to the Black Forest. Well apparently, one doesn't just simply walk into the Black Forest. It's like Mordor. So I had to go up a mountain, which was very nice. This is from the cable car lift to get up the mountain.
On this trip, I learned a very important lesson: the Deutsche Bahn owns EVERYTHING. At first, I just thought the DB ran the train system, but then they're affiliated with each city's subway system, which still makes sense. Then, I get to Freiburg, and get my ticket to go on the cable car to get up the mountain, and what do I find? The cable card is run by Deutsche Bahn! They own all, and they know all....
