I have no idea how people do this sort of thing. I know what it's called and all that, but every single time that I see something so small in such close-up, perfect detail, I am blown away. Up this close, a snowflake looks like a piece of glasswork artβsharp, but delicate, and the closer that you look at it, you can see that a snowflake up close is an interesting, singular sort of thing, while at a distance a bunch of them just looks like a sheet of white. This is a very good picture.
My favorite part about the composition here is the close-up generality that gives way to seeing part of an individual flake, then the centerpiece, which is the biggest (?) snowflake, which is so big and clear.
