"Well - the first thing I want to know is how is Mr Stark's getting in with his work with the sarcophagus ?", Jim asked.

"Very well - apparently, although I'm sure he doesn't tell me everything.", Novius replied.

"But at least he didn't use the kittens on any of his nasty experiments - as far as I can tell...", Ethan added.

"No - but he was talking about using monkeys - but I told him I was not going to have monkeys wandering about in the villa...", Novius said.

"OK, but what's the situation now ?", Jim asked.

"Well according to what he's told me, he thinks he understands how to operate the device, but he's still unsure of how the Armantium actually causes 'temporal alterations in biological functions' - as he describes it.", Novius finally revealed.

"So in ordinary language the sarcophagus works, seemingly with no bad side-effects - but Tony doesn't actually understand how...", Jim concluded.

"Yes...", Novius replied tersely.

"An that's where the advice and the philosophy come in, Novius." Jim observed.

There was an awkward silence in the dimly lit study.

"Well we could just take it back to the pyramid in Armant, or bury it - which probably wouldn't be safe - but we really need to know why we found it, and possibly who or what made it in the first place.
