Fill thy heart with scorn, o genius of dust

Absolutely stunning, my god, I see why one of my favorite artists takes inspiration from you!
Do you come up with the poems yourself? They have a scripture-like quality, but also *could* be original.Β

It's simply awe-inspiring to see how much detail is in this deviant and yet how well we're all able to see it. I'm especially liking the coloring.

I love how most of your Angelarium follow a similar theme... distinctly non-human. They may have hands, mouths, muscles, but... they're clearly not human. Earlier iterations such as Rahab still felt like they were never human in the first place. And then there's Suphlatus. Her portraiture looks like your average desert dweller: quick, adaptable, sun-bleached; truly beautiful. And it seems that she was plucked out of her dreary existence and remade into something new, rather than built from the ground up as an emissary of beings we will never understand.Β
I mean no disrespect with this critique, as you are truly one of my favorite artists on DA. You're like RK Post without the sadness. And I know full well that I'm not capable of creating such wonderful pieces, I merely aim to point out that Suphlatus does not seem to fit with the other members of your Angelarium.Β

I find this one very interesting because it's so unlike the others.
It's on the ground. It looks active rather than meditative. It's more human than the others. It intrigues me because of how "of this world" it looks when compared to the otherworldliness of the other angels.Β I love that you were able to draw me in by making it do that.

I'd love to see what scale these angels are, so far I've been under the impression that they were much larger than human.
Though one can't be sure this one is as small as that.Β
They're all lovely, but this one is my favorite so far.

I think my favourite part is how the blue from the sky is elsewhere in the painting, it's so balanced and fluid.

Absolutely awe-inspiring! Everything about this piece is awesome. The colors are wonderful and have a sandy texture-like feel, which totally makes it even better.
