Profile painting I worked on that started out as a quick rough but ended up staying up until 6am finishing it heh. Anyhow spent around 5-6 hours on it overall.c&c welcomed as always.

This is a very well drawn piece I must say. The colouring works very well together. At first glance, the shading looked perfect, but after looking it over a couple of times, I noticed that you failed to add some shadows around the face area. Also the bottom right mask part looks like thick paper curving slightly inward. You should work on shading that part. Another mis-shading I noted is the mask doesn't look like its making too much of a shadow on the bottom part of the face, like how I would expect the lighting direction to cause.
I really did like the combination of colors, as in the bright red in the foreground and dark brown in the background. I think you had a good idea going into this so that's the reason I gave you a 5 for vision. But there are an extremely large amount of partially covered armored faces on deviant art.
I truly love how the mask flows like, well, lava + water. The spikes near the top of the face look really cool. This motion gave your painting an extra umph in impact. This is going down in my favorites!

Fantastic the design of the suit gives me a sort of Zerg feeling. I don't know why ^^
