I had this idea for BUT it was too late for throwback Thursday but really ready for flash back Friday. I travel back 8 years ago to Feb 14 (figures i was posting art on valentines day).

Trying to think about the artist i was in 2006 and who i wanted to be, I was living with 3 other college roommates cramming for a mid term paper (probably that stupid art history class or sociology). Wont blame them for the poor drawing but i surely wasn't focused , that changed 7 days later when something happen in my life and i decided to change tracks. Change wasn't as quick as i wanted and its frustrating (still frustrating) but at least i don't have to leave with 3 other guys. hah

A quick rundown of what happened in the progress

I took the piece. Speed painted for about 2 hrs figuring what i needed to fix and how to improve this composition. Wanted to add 5 additional characters and try coloring someone new, Spider-man.
What might have change is the down shot its not as strong as my in my original.
So something that went from a quick color sketch and it started to evolve, i printed that out and blue lined pencils and rescanned it back in. I than did quick adjustments and than really start messing with the lighting.

I would love to tackle this one again in 8 years
