Updated: with ~MarinDesign 's Suggestions i made improvement on the color. The new version has a smoother color. much much better so Please Please re-download it. I also found a way to keep the file size small.
This wallpaper works best with 16:9 and 4:3 monitors.
So many people asked me to make a wallpaper base on my Windows 7 Packaging design. So here it is. i call it Basic, because is really a simple wallpaper.

really great wallpaper, but this grey areas in the top left corner are annoying me! can you please change them to black like in the bottom right corner? i think this would look better

It was 8bit, still is 8bit.

how did you managed to make it smoother than? did you blurred it?

Make sure you are working with 16bit color mode in photoshop, if not with the RAW photoshop convert it to 16 bit. So Photoshop will be able to process effect and blend mode with smoother results. then save as TIff or PNG in 16bit mode.
Next open the saved Tiff or PNG image in photoshop, convert it back to 8bit and save as JPG.
There you go.. it all worked.
