Brilliant. It reminds me somewhat of those old Victorian Spiritist photographs, the ones with swaths of gauze meant to be ectoplasm. There is a haunting beauty to this.

Once they finally meet they are destroyed.... but destrpyed together. First thought that came to mins, there, if the implied 2 persons are what you were going for. I could also see this as saying goodbye to one's self.... Very intruiging either way^^
