Gears stopped spinning, eyes stopped bleeding.
I see a paralyzed character hiding behind a hard mask.Β Sometimes feelings are so overwhelming, they paralyze you and loose their meaning. You just try to get by, by wearing the right masks.
Thatβs what I recognize in this piece.
Beautifull use of texture. Your other pieces are more organic, this one is more mechanical and static, which contributes to the paralyzed feeling I get when looking at it.
