Description
Some more unusual light from the canyon. It was like nothing I've ever seen, the sun setting as a snow storm moves around the north rim of the canyon. The thin cloud caught the last light over the horizon and lit up creating this pink orange band and highlighting the tops of the buttes and temples. A stunning moment and one that is etched into my memory.Hopi Point- Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona.

Thank you! That is another butte in the distance. The incredible thing about the canyon is the many layers it provides.Β

You've said it best I think in your comments.
Can you imagine what incredible scenes and light has never been seen by human eyes in this place?
Outstanding capture!

There are still plenty of untouched areas within the canyon that I am sure have never been seen by humans. Would love to see it all, but realistically it just doesn't seem possible.
