Description

Tribute to Liz Danforth's Khamul the Easterling, 2nd of the nine Nazgul after the Witch-King of Angmar. Liz painted all nine Nazgul for the collectible card game Middle Earth the Wizards from Iron Crown Enterprises, which pre-dates THE movies by a couple of years (1995!). In the game you set out with a party to either collect items, factions and allies for points, or you can try an destroy the One Ring at Mount Doom (good luck with that though). Later expansions also added the ability to play as the "bad" side.

The game is maybe more complex than Magic, but in hindsight I would say that Magic has more depth to it with fewer game mechanics. Traversing Middle Earth with well known party members and all the recognizable stuff you encounter never gets old though.
