ok so I've been to Prague for a week. It was boring. so I did this. I can't really decide if I like it or not... but I'm submitting it anyway and we'll se if it stays here.. xD
it's... Super Mario... thingies.

WOW. Absolutely incredible.
I think what appeals to me the most about this piece is the amount of work put into it, and the skill to actually pull it off. First of all, as I've noticed, it's not digital art, it's traditional, this means that you musn't of had the (for this piece, mind you) ability to use layers and whatnot, as seen in Photoshop, it's all drawn on the one page, the one 'layer' so to speak. I find that very impressive.
Mario strongly appeals to me also, because I'm a big Nintendo/Mario fan. To be honest, I am disappointed that Mario himself was not featured in your fanart, but it still looks great even without him.
I think what I like most are all the cool little drawings from the Mario franchise, from the looks of things (since there is a Super Nintendo and a controller in the piece too) it looks as if this piece was inspired by Super Mario World, from the Super Nintendo. Am I correct?

Ah, bringing back Super Nintendo, I just love it X3! I really love the rainbow colors and how cheerful it looks even thought the clouds are black =3! Very cute coloring overall, and Mario rocks XD! Hehe, I miss playing the shooting game with the plastic gun, and you shoot down the birds or disks, lol but the gun doesn't work anymore (j_j) X'D! This is a favourite =]!

Goodness gracious, this is positively fantastic! Seriously.. I just love how trippy it looks XD With the rainbows floating in space with the bubbly stars and clouds.. everything just fits so well.. very vibrant and colorful. I especially like how the Super Nintendo controller just hangs out on the side.. along with the.. remote? XD Haha.
I like the way you did the coloring and shading.. with little dark bubbles on the side.. it's so hard to pull that off without making it look strange.. but it just totally fits here ;.; I also like how on the mushrooms and the chomper, you see that bubblyness on the lineart. Although I'm curious as to why the Goombas and the turtle shells didn't get that same treatment XD But yeah.. this is lovely!
