Description
First of all, I want to thank KingOli1999 for the inspirational message he left on my page. Actually, this piece was drawn before I noticed his response.See, I've had this idea for a short animation called "Markiplier vs. The Dinosaurs". Now, I have no problem making Markiplier into a cartoon character. The problem I did have was would I be able to draw dinosaurs. I began by warming up with a Markiplier model sheet, basically a body shot with three emotions in close-up, then came the practice of drawing dinosaurs. I reckoned we would only need two main breeds, the Velociraptor and the T-Rex. I first tried the raptor from memory which pretty much looked like a human in a dinosaur costume, or more like a dino-human mutant hybrid like from the X-Men arcade game. Finally, I was like, "If I'm going to draw dinosaurs, I'm gonna need a good couple references." And that's what you see here.
The T-Rex on the left came from a finished product from which I would use my "artist brain" to break down the creature into its constructive shapes. The T-Rex on the right came from a WikiHow article on drawing dinosaurs. Which one do you think is more applicable enough to animation? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
I do have to say, starting out your day by drawing is very comforting.

I like the T-Rex on the left, because it looks more appealing and looks a lot like a really detailed dinosaur.
Plus im glad my comment was able to help you and inspire you in a way. Keep up the good work mate
