Description
If u haven't read first books from G R R Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" - don't waste any more time! These are absolutely deviolicious pieces of fantasy prose beyond any competition. He's better than Tolkien, better than anyone to the date. If u liked Eriksson's Malaz u'll probably think of it as an far lower imitation of Martin's Seven Kingdoms.I love SoIaF mostly because its evil characters. They are not crippled, small men (and women) in too tigth shoes with only ilusional strength broken easily by the good ones. SoIaF villians are a masterpiece, their motivations are convincing, their skills are real... they're nothing less than white-hatted guys and are additionaly armed in wide arsenal of immoral actions.
This char is Daenerys, member of almost extinct royal human race of Valyrian. Her ancestors conquered Seven Kingdoms about 300 years before first book's action and held it untill rebellion that broke out about 10 years before. She and her brother were only Targaryens (second name) that escaped death and after growing up tried to regain what was thiers. Starting with only name and rigtheous claim to the throne.
Daenerys is on 3rd - 2nd plane in first two books.
On the pic she has three small dragons more than royal name...
I intend to draw some more GRRM novel pics, next time villian... ofcourse!

I was surprised to see a picture of her on DA. She is by far one of my most favorite characters in the book. I don't know if it's because there is finally a woman character who is so badass she rivals the men, but I love her. You're right about the series. I read A LOT and this is definetly the best. If you're bored and want something to read that (in my opinion) is just as good try Robin Hobb. She's excellent. Go with the Farseer Trilogy first, then Liveship Traders, and then the Tawnyman. Hopefully the next book will be out sometime the end of this year. I don't think I can take much more of this waiting....
Maybe I will read Feast for Crows again..
Anyway great job on the drawing. I like how the dragons look all playful
