Description So
Dragon Rising has been a great season
But there is this thing
Lloyd willing to take after Wu and absolutely forgetting that his dad exists and loves him

Now imma express my opinion on it because why not

1. Love
Like, I know that Garmadon's been far from Lloyd, but even so, Lloyd seems to have forgotten entirely Garmadon's good side, nor observe the struggles of his good side to be good. Like, it's doing something against its whole nature. Try to teach a camel to swim and expect it to be good at it. I know how painful it is for Lloyd (don't ask. All you have to know is that I'm not paralleled with what he's feeling). Also, Garmadon was very clear about not regretting signing himself on that letter all because of Lloyd. And Misako has specified that Garmadon has been a great person when having Lloyd. Like, it's not like he wanted to leave Lloyd. He was controlled by the Devourer's venom. I know that it's painful, but it's not like Garmadon had a choice. Lloyd seems to have completely forgotten how much his father loves him

2. Garmadon's past
I really don't think Garmadon has had an easy time as a child after the thing with Aspheera. Like, the FSM has lost trust in both him and Wu. From my own experiences, I can tell Garmadon hasn't told the FSM about what Wu's done (going to the Serpentine territory) to defend him from his dad's anger (It's not like I've done it myself a lot of times ) plus he was a kid. What did the FSM expect to get from a KID? I'm pretty sure kids won't act like adults. And if the brothers were afraid to tell their dad that Wu dropped his sword over the wall and ask him to go get it... I don't know what to think. The FSM doesn't seem to be... Forgiveful let's say? And then Nineko' s backstory comes in. Even Wu admitted that it was a thing the FMS would do. And if I remember correctly, Wu tried to defend is father when Garmadon was mad at him
Usually, people when becoming parents behave like one of their parents (in this case, no mother of Wu and Garmadon was ever mentioned so...). Now, there is never mentioned that Lloyd was ever afraid to tell his (good version of) his dad anything because he may get angry nor Garmadon lost trust in Lloyd and the others after accepting Chen's invitation without telling anyone and Lloyd even lied about going fishing. It's the same as with the Aspheera thing. Bad thing has happened and you don't know how your dad will act if you tell him. Garmadon hasn't lost any trust in Lloyd. So basically Garmadon has done all he could for Lloyd and was a great parent (like, you do all you can for your child)

3. Sensei W-Lloyd
And even so, I would have preferred Lloyd to at least find his own style rather than take after Wu
It's not that I have something against Wu himself (and I really liked him when he was younger (not because the design. Personality)) but I disagree with pretty many of his opinions (like when he was like 'we should let them go to see how far they're willing to go' and boom they're on space in Rebooted. Or when he didn't want to fight the authorities in Crystalized. Or the idea of telling metaphors to your students when they have no idea what to do and that's it (I could begin a whole thing but I'm too lazy nor I think anyone is interested)) and I wouldn't wanna see Lloyd the same way
Imagine old Lloyd meditating on a carpet, sometimes drinking tea and telling his students in a wise voice to his students "you must find your true potential" (and 5 minutes later "There Is Something I Haven't Told You Yet")
I wouldn't see bearded Lloyd even if he had twice Wu's age

So, yeah. That's what I think. I hope I explained well and I haven't forgotten anything (it's not like I forget things while I'm saying them and what I've said 1 second ago)
Also, this is only my opinion plus arguments for it. Nothing more. Just my opinion
