Description
IX - From the WildernessNot all Kukuris start their life as a tame, and sometimes all it takes is a special meeting. Even if the said special meeting was in middle of a night in a trashcan.
° Draw or write how this wild-born kukuri was acquired by your handler, either they were rescued, caught, or maybe they just took interest in the human habitats. Two rather young, wild kukuris were on a stroll through a lush forest when they arrived to a little pond for a refreshing drink. Little did they know that in the pond lived a siren, that had been curioisly observing the kukuris under the pond's calm surface. As the two kukuris drank up and laid down on the grass to rest, the siren decided to rise from her home pond to greet the kukuris - it was not the best idea, though. She didn't manage to scare the kukuris, but as soon as the bigger prairie noticed the mysterious siren, he started do growl and aggressively circled the pond with a fiery stare on his blood red eyes. The siren did not move from her place since the prairie didn't seem willing to hop in the water, so she decided to wait for the rook to calm down. Meanwhile the smaller, raven dove hopped on top of a dead tree to observe the situation; she was seemingly calm and curious, and while she didn't show any aggression towards the siren she either didn't do anything to stop the prairie from flashing her huge tusks and waiting for an opportunity to rip the siren in pieces if she came closer.
As time passed and the rook showed no signs of calming, the siren decided to sing a little song - a song she often used to lure unsuspecting males on her pond to feast on them, though now she was just trying to stop the prairie from being so aggressive towards her. As suspected, her song managed to stop the rook's circling as he started listening and relaxing. The raven dove though, she was not affected by the voluptuous singing.

PHEW darn. So I decided to try painting the bg since I really want to learn, which meant that this pic took much longer to finish than I anticipated. xD There are some elements I like (the trees) but also some things I really dislike (water and grass), though that means that I just gotta try harder. òvó9
First BTT piece for my kukuris:
I have not yet done a reference for the handler, but I think this color scheme and clothing is pretty much final. I might include her face in the next training, though you won't be seeing it fully just yet... She has her own mysteries.
