Wow. You can do this with pencils?
Why aren't you sitting on a fortune instead of Damien Hirst?

The lighting of this portrait is quite subtle and difficult to get right, but you've rendered it perfectly. I'm glad it's not me trying to do it. Well done

Holy damn that is one amazing drawing and so stunning
Hmm did you make this one with faber castell pencils? O_o No dots or drawing lines in the colour, damn! How did you manage to make it so perfect and do you have a picture of the type of pencils you got? I will start to use colour pencils in the close future and want to be able to paint well compared to how I can now so I´m thankful for all advices about it

Thanks Yes I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. Lots of layering and blending.
Feel free to ask any questions you want

Layering: to draw the same area several times with the same colour I presume Making it smooth so to say and cover all white areas a first layer wont cover?
How do you do the blending? Never done that myself.

Yes, you can get a 'colourless blending pencil' I use a derwent blender for the background and a prismacolor blender for finer details - it is a little smoother
