This model of Heavy MG chambered in 12.7x99mm has been servicing soldier of Terra; or Earth, or Gaia to many others, since the year 1933. It was designed by a renowned designer known as Johnathan Moses Browning and originally produced by an equally renowned company called Colt.

Now, the design is simply rugged and reliable. Easy to produce, maintain, and modify. This variant has been converted to be held like a traditional rifle or carbine with two hands. Though, with the extreme heft, it is heavily advised to use the gun with cybernetics or powered armor.

On The Frontier, the most dangerous thing is not just the environment; Alien Fauna and Flora, Hostile and Rough Terrain, but fellow sentient beings. Pirates, Bandits, Raiders. All of whom want what is mined here on Schwarznacht. Raw metal ore in the form of black sand dunes resting at the foot of the volcanic mountains. Grains of Iron, Copper, Tin, Aluminium, Gold, Silver, and many other raw elements used in the Universal Republics' warmachine against the threats beyond The Frontier.

The only thing you need to scare a Fiend off is one good warning shot using a phospor tracer round, then the next round, well... some Armor Piercing High Explosive never hurt to use. Like The Rangers say, no such thing as Overkill.
