The buttclops, known locally as "Shirime" (Japanese for "butt eye"), is a creature from Japan with an affinity for pranks. Specifically stripping down, and showing people the glowing eyeball in his anus. Further investigation shows that he's also capable of seeing out of his eyeless face. And apparently he's not the only member of his species, as our investigators report seeing many butt-eyed humanoids in the same area. As well as a related species known as the "black-toothed bride", but that's a monster for another day. This monster is a favorite form among shapeshifting tanuki, which lead to the speculation that this creature never really existed, and was just a tanuki in disguise, but it exists alright, the DNA samples that were recovered didn't match those of a tanuki, confirming that this is a different creature. Also, buttclopes are some of the few ghosts that have mass.
