Description
In Memory of those who died on September 11th, 2001..........
i was born and raised in new york state. the events of 9.11.01 had a deep personal impact for a variety of reasons. at the time of the attacks, i was 3000 miles from home. the last time i saw the twin towers standing was on 8.11.01 when i shot some pictures from the SI ferry. i didn't have the heart to print them until recently. this was something i felt compelled to put together for personal reasons. comment if you want to.

mooboy, take a look at what I wrote, I said Afganistan civilianz were killed, the current bullshit war on iraq has nothing to do with september 11th... I doubt the iraq minister of defense had anything to do with the death poll in afgainistan.

I usually don't do two comments on one piece, but this is for the idiot "~joo-suck-at-art" who made that really moronic idiotic comment above...
__________________________________________________
You who come from Switzerland, which has NEVER gotten attacked in any history I can remember, presume to sit in your chair in your house up in the mountains and JUDGE US ?
I don't usually quote from anything, but this fits.
"Don't judge a man until you walk a mile in his shoes"
You weren't here then, and probably didn't know anyone who was, so where do you get off making cracks about our government and the Al-Quaeda?
Your comment on that 9/11 piece falls in the same catagory as the opinion that the store that sells a gun to a customer is responsible for that customer shooting someone with it.
Do the world a favor and smack your head into a nearby wall a few times, then drink some coffee, then see a shrink and get a reality check... Because you definitely don't live on the same planet the rest of us do.
PS- Stop eatin' so much of that cheese you guys make, cause your comment has more holes in it than a whole wheel of the stuff!

Damm RIGHT we should never forget what happened that fateful day in 2001. Be an American and proud of it!
An EXCELLENT
piece for remembrance...
I went to the WTC back in 1985 from Boston on a day trip and I remember the breathtaking view from the observation deck of the south tower...
Oh, and to all those ignorant assholes who have the dillusion that just because the people on those planes were civilians, they were not heroes... Well I say this, "Hey you STUPID IGNORANT FUCK-HEAD! If it were not for those civilians (the one that comes to mind is Todd Beemer) on that fourth flight over Pennsylvania, who selflessly gave their lives to protect others on the ground by attacking the Al-Quaeda hi-jackers, there would have been a LOT more dead people that day... Maybe someone you might have known! Think about that you IGNORANT piece of RAT-CRAP!"
Sorry, stupid ignorant assholes piss me off.
I just submitted a piece myself to the wallpaper, political gallery because i didn't know where else to submit it to...
Would someone in this group please tell me where to send it so it will be appreciated ?

The 5,ooo civis that were reported killed has already been proven to be false information that was given out by the Iraqi Minister of Information. Look into it. But again, you are not one for truth, so it's a waste of time really.

I know this is a touchy subject, but honestly, dont forget how many other innocent lives ended because of this. Just becasue I life ins't american, doesn't mean its not a life. Im not trying to stir-up trouble, im just saying.

Now
You can say Thanks to your government and the CIA, for supporting Al Quaeda giving them weapons and money.
Thanks also your Bush to justify more and more terror acts against your country in the future.
Oh, and just a detail : 2998 civilians victims here.
do you know how many civilians victims Your attacks made in Iraq ?

Incredibly simple and quite beautiful - you have created a wonder-
ful and moving tribute. Everything is right in this image; from the
font you chose to the way all the names add a graininess to the
image ( almost dusty, like the air would have been on that day ).
Perfect color with that touch of red.

One of your best ideas most definately.
Im not a New Yorker...and i can honestly say when the towers were standing i never actually went into them.
pitiful me....but i guess im one of many who didnt have that pleasure...or merely took for granted the simplicity of architecture.
Excellent tribute m'dear.

Nice work. I was fortunate enough to visit the towers in 2000, and went to the top of the south one. The following year they were gone Great tribute.
