Now that I have that stated. I have to say while look at Azula, I had a thought! What if after she was sentenced to prison, she was left there and eventually had a child with say another prisoner. She and that child were left to rot in that prison and that child had a child years later and repeated the process until 4 generations after Ozai's fall, the world is so engulfed in literally a world war, AGAIN. The great great granddaughter of Azula manages to escape with the help of pair of siblings, Kaskae and Kaya of the Southern Water Tribe. Kaskae looks like Sokka's doppleganger and Kaya looks like Suki. They were sent to the prisoner due to a coup at the hands of their insane uncle with the help of the newest Fire Lord whose brother recently died in his sleep. *cough poisoned cough* Do not worry, Azula's descendent Kaoru is not insane, but she does have a thing for Kaskae. Kaoru isn't so much a firebender as much as a street fighter, given the fact she grew up in a prison, she's a scrappy one.

Eventually they are joined by a disinherited descendent of Toph, she's an earth bender. Jin was the seventh daughter of a seventh son, so she was unimportant. However, she seems to be Toph's reincarnation in both mannerisms and in ability. It is in the Fire Nation where the last three members of the group are met. The true heir to the title 'Fire Lord', the great great grandson of Zuko, Hideki. He is still mourning over his father, Iroh named for their many great uncle. He is accompanied with his girlfriend Sora and her kid brother Michi. The reason Sora and Michi bear a striking resemblence to Katara & Aang is that they're descendents of them. Tenzen had a sister whose husband claimed his wife was disloyal to him and banished her, she was eventually taken in by the firenation. She bore her husband's son, though he would never know how faithful she had been. That son married the daughter of a Fire Nation General. Zuko essentially protected that line of the Avatar until his death. Eventually the line comes to Sora who is a firebender and Michi is an airbender but hides it.

As you can see, my brain had nothing better to do than come up with that scenerio.
