-Around 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered in a genocide ranging for 1915-1923-Toally based on religious intolerence
-After the fall of the Ottoman Empire, Talat seeked to restore that land to it's original Muslim heritage
-No outside help was ever recieved
-To this day many countries officially recognize the genocide, except for America and the ones who started it, Turkey
-It is illegal to talk about a "possible" Armenian genocide, there it's punishible by death
-20 years before the genocide many more Armenians were killed in the Hammidian masacre, again for religious intolerence
-30 years after, many Armenians, as well as other races, were marched into Siberia under Stalins reign
-It is known as the Forgotten Genocide
-Adolf Hitler was intrigued by the Armenian genocide and during a speech in the Holocaust even said, "After all, who remembers the Armenian?"
-I remember as do many who are survivors of this horrible act, relatives of survivors, and many others who continue to educate people about a crime comitted in a country most people have never even heard about
