The wizard's been kidnapping girls and experimenting on them. But you really shouldn't turn somebody into something that can fight back
The middle girl, who stole the wizard's wand, is a winged unicorn-taur (obviously). The girl on the left is a hippogryph-taur. And the girl on the right is a manticore-taur.
I get the feeling they've been kept here quite a while while the wizard experimented on them. Weeks, maybe months.
Alternatively, this is just my muse being her usual weird self for a few hours on a Saturday morning.
