Goodbye Heather

Buzz-saws whirred as I sat bolt upright.
You held me in your arms, oh so tight.
The world swayed and bowed beneath it's weight.
my mind crashed and fell upon
you feet.
I felt your carress, upon my shoulders and
my back.
A shimmer and a light, and something was not quite
right.
You were gone, and I were here.
I wiped the sweat, from my brow
stumbled up and searched

in flooded the light, and you were gone.
My mind returned, and I remembered
you never said goodbye, before you left.
