Description Your arm
pushed against mine
my arm
pushed against yours
we held in the breath of air,
around us the cold hung so sharply.
It didn't really matter,
as we held that silent embrace.
You were so beautiful, lit by the night
Laughter, hung upon as I peered into
you
deep into you
I could feel it, as that night I felt it
pulling this attraction out of alignment swept
Drifting closer our lips almost met
I CAN'T
I don't know how, the way you know.
You've passed through so many,
and you've found me
The way your leg crossed mine, warmth
unlike anything
fires through my heart and a tangle of
feelings enmeshed as you rested your feet
upon my outstretched legs
footrest, so stupid.
I shielded you, from the underneath
and you clung so closely
Kept on talking, level and same.
Didn't even really need to, we both knew
what we'd say.
Our minds mingled as limbs meshed so well together
in this beautiful image
of you
and of me
of youandme
