Description
Your voice I hear, loud and clear, ringing stinging tearing through theese cold
grey days.
Each bleeds into another into another and another
'till I just don't know where I am.
Piercing and shrieking I hear the telephone,
lift it to my ear and pour it to my soul.
You stood beside me when no other would.
Help my world up-right when no other could.
You lay beside me, and stared into the spring-time sky.
Lit upon your words, I know that you're here to be my
friend.
Every day I thought about you,
wondered what I'd've done without you.
Dreamed of you. Of who I dream count so few.
Colors bled to white, and I see your form.
Sharp blue your outline, and I hear your voice.
"I've thought about you a lot lately".
welling, tears swelling.
I could never tell you the same, thanks I say.
Somewhere along the sands of time,
you found me ruffled and crying.
Walked along-side me, and said you cared.
Through seas grey and tides trong, you sailed me
to the other side.
I wondered at your beauty, and marvelled at your strength.
Sunlight lit your very path as you waded out,
an angel and you sang unto the heavens.
There I knew, that I will always love you.
My friend.
