Description
The LieI'm just, so confused.
The way you moved, and the way light
to you was infused.
I can't even keep my breath, when your memory
flits before my mind's eye.
I know, you must've just been playing.
(they always are)
but, there was something of a sincerity
within your warmth.
I mused, before, about something of a
loneliness.
(it rises)
urgent in my heart,
there's this longing, I can't quite describe.
With all my words, and all my notes I can't quite describe.
I know that it was probably a lie
(she lied, too)
I feel so alone, in this place.
See, I know that I'll lose the race.
(I always do)
I wanted you to see.
I never let anyone see, inside my living heart.
Only dead memories, where no-one can hurt me.
I don't want you to be a memory,
I don't want you locked away in poetry and prose.
The way you held me, I'll never recompose.
(I never do)
I don't want you to fade from me,
like so much past ran through the wind.
At least, just tell me if you lied.

I know... it's a rather recent addition. I've been writing songs lately, and I've just started sort of falling into rhyming naturally (Or, un-naturally. However you'd like to put it. ;p). Thank you, for the comment.

What a wonderful place we'd live in, if we could just make things disappear.

Interesting. Can feel strong emotions come forth in the words. I'm not a big fan of rhyme. There are some points where it seems a tad forced, but the flow is still pretty smooth in this piece. Nice expression.
